It was one of those nights when the darkness around is not only all-consuming, but also so palpable that you seem to reach out and feel its touch. Only strings of neon lights along the street made it possible to navigate in space. And the headlights of the daring muscle cars passing by at high speed reminded me that life was somewhere nearby... dark figures of people were crowding Under the purple neon. The lights beckoned to the moths, but they did not always provide the warmth they had hoped for.

Wandering along these nondescript blocks, He was like a drifting ship in cold outer space. One. And his dreams took him to the sun-drenched beach of Miami. And the Naked Night suddenly begins to take shape, alluring and frightening at the same time. Hope rekindled the fire in his chest.
